People that write 'This' under a piece of quoted text. I mean, thank you for agreeing with me, but stop being so bloody arrogant about it. Makes my teeth itch.

I find really over the top reactions annoying. Lets say there is a thread about a murder or something. Comments such as "he should be hung", "he should be raped" etc... I just find them very cringeworthy.

I find the getting offended for someone else worse.

I hate that we can't bash travellers and minorities.

People always fishing for likes by saying

"Am I the only one who blahblah"

No you cúnt, you're not the only person to like/dislike something.

So, so far on this thread we have teeth itching, blood boiling, and people getting raped and hung. Anyone's ears burning yet? Any gears grinding?

Another happy day in AH I see!

Finger wagging posts about thanks whoring in RIP threads that, ironically, people frantically jockey to get in first in the hope of harvesting thanks.

People that use sly derailing strategies in topics in lieu of explanation or discussion. Prime example is IRA threads where republicans saying little more than what exactly do you mean by that or can you prove that as a means of avoiding doing the same themselves.

People droning on about Amp Tests, Facekicker, 3AM Database Backups, Bubbles and Join Dates and other things that the vast majority of the site don't know or give a shiit about.

People intent on pointing out generalisations even if you said "generally speaking".

If you say "generally speaking" that means what follows is a generalisation.

Me: generally speaking, grass is green.

Boards idiot: that's such a generalisation, there's also brown grass.

Me: I said generally speaking so yes, it is a generalisation. What's your point?

    People who
    quote and respond
    line by line
Making the discussion into a boring pedantic private debate between them and the other poster. I think it should be banned.

While I perfectly understand the legal implications for Boards, should an open debate be allowed regarding our mobile brethren, it grinds my gears that it is another example of where they use some laws for their own benefit, while disregarding others.

People who can't wait to post 'RIP' when someone they've never met dies and says 'oh he/she will be missed' like they actually give a f*ck.

As soon as they post it they forget about it go about their day, but it's OK, they're a good person now as they've posted 'RIP'.

    Pedanticism.

It's not being pedantic. Not one little bit.

Using the term 'road tax' is often a deliberate attempt at trolling.

When it's not trolling, usually it's an easy way to spot a bully. People who 'unwittingly' use the term do so as they believe it gives them greater priority on the road over say....cyclists "who don't pay road tax". This attitude is dangerous.

Any poster using the term 'road tax' with the sole aim of trolling OR as justification for cars having priority on the road, is a moron.

There are cases where it can be described as pedantic where a user may ask something like "how much is the road-tax on X car" but this is probably in 1% of cases.
