    Hi

I'm up in Dublin for a few days this week and I really need to update my wardrobe. Are there any decent shops in Dublin that people recommend. I need some smart casual type clothes but I'm not sure where I should be shopping anymore. I'm 37 and feel that most of the shops are aimed at lads in their twenties. Can anyone help?

    Mick.

As someone of the same age, I was in Arnotts on Henry St yesterday for the first time in over a year. Really impressed with their menswear section on the ground floor. Much improved and expanded. They have one whole area of casual to smart casual and then another area with formal. All the major brands (All Saints, Reiss, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis, French Connection, Diesel, GStar Raw and many more).

You'll definitely find age appropriate and decent quality menswear there.

TK Maxx in Stephens Green SC or Ted Baker on Grafton Street are good options too. While Zara is kind of youth oriented, you can pick up some nice smart casual stuff there too (opposite Arnotts and alongside Debenhams). Debenhams alright too but personally, I find a lot of their clothes on the stuffy or boring side.
