Does anybody just not get tired?

Trying to fall asleep here and for the life of me I just can't do it. I'd have a drink if I had any in, or I'd have a **** if I felt like it, cos that usually does the job, but nothing is working tonight.

I'm not someone who really gets tired. I just keep going until I conk, but I couldn't just willingly head to bed and fall asleep once my head hit the pillow... unless bombed.

Anyone else in a similar boat? What's the solution? Night time ritual of getting blind drunk? Cos I could really get into that in fairness

Get up early in the morning of you're having trouble sleeping. 6 or 7 am normally does the trick.

I fell asleep on a train from Brussels to Paris once and woke up in a pink bedroom in Amsterdam 2 days later.

Ever since then I've considered sleeping a hazardous activity.

I wish I was one of those people who never get tired, I'm like the opposite of an insomniac. I love to sleep. :o

Ever since I had to go 2 days without sleep, I've cherished my bed. Anytime I can't sleep I just remember how awful it was not having the option and I conk out. :D

I am tired 24/7 (in certain respects)...just of certain parts of life...But, ya know what? I have to pay the bills....so I, like soo many, have to face the week and "smile" as much as I can! Dreading Monday morning and loving Friday evening! I don't think I'd be human if I didn't....

Wouldn't make a lick of difference to me, I'd still struggle to fall asleep the next night -all without being tired

Jeezzzzz...................Just wake up the wife and ask her for a loan of her hand/wrist.

If no wife, then go into bathroom and use your own hand/wrist

Then get a good nights sleep.

What annoys me most about sleep is that my body prefers to sleep at morning and late into the afternoon. But many jobs require you be in work at the crack of dawn and when you factor in leisure time after work you have to be in bed and asleep by 12. My body never allows me to sleep at this time!

I'd love to know how many people get home from work at say 16.00 or 17.00 and go straight to bed, get their 8 hours sleep and then get up at say 00.00 or 01.00 and start there day afresh?
