Curious Question about BTEA

If you were in receipt of BTEA and were to get married during the college semester, would your weekly payment be re-assessed and lowered based on the husband's current earnings, or would the claimant still be in receipt of the same payment until May, when they had to switch back to their original claim? Assuming the claimant and future husband are not cohabiting.

BTEA is not means tested so I don't think the BTEA payment could be reduced.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

So she could perhaps get the BTEA at her full rate, and then would be assessed on her husband's earnings if she didn't find work over the Summer?

If she knew she was marrying (but as I said absolutely not cohabiting), would it be considered fraud?
