Myprotein taking the piss!

Ordered three products from them on 26/8/13. They were dispatched the next day and I still have not received them, despite my previous order only taking three days. Noticed they have a different courier - tracking number starts with MHI

Anyway I lodged a query only to be told today that my order could take 21 days to be delivered!

This is outrageous - I paid for delivery that said 4-8 working days.

Responded and told them it was unacceptable and that if my order isn't here by Friday I will be cancelling it and lodging a complaint via paypal.

    What a joke!

Yeh I stopped using them - it's ridiculous - they don't give a damn either!

Nevermind the fact that my almond butter was burst all over the package when I finally got it :/

Yes and when I inquired as to the status, as there hadn't been an update on it (I was tracking it online) I was informed it could take up to 21 days. Not that it would take 8 working days.

Who said 21 days, the courier or myprotein?

I can't get my head around the fact that some people are having nightmares with this crowd and others aren't.

I did a bit of googling on this and it appears people are leaving myprotein in droves due to their ****ty delivery service

    Cheers for the info!

Had a look at their site and was impressed. Think I'll make my next order with them and use parcelmotel

The latest from myprotein after I told them I paid for delivery that takes 4-8 days:

"I am sorry but I cannot see where is states that it may state that delivery is usually between 4-8 working days, however it can take a maximum of 21 days."

    WTF:mad:

Here is a link to their delivery times from their UK site

    http://www.myprotein.com/customer-services/delivery-information.list

Here is a link to their delivery times from their Irish portal

    http://ie.myprotein.com/customer-services/delivery-information.list

Now I paid €3.99 for delivery and nowhere do I see any mention of 21 days!

    Am I missing something here?

If you paid with PayPal dispute and escalate to a claim. MyProteim customer care is crap beyond belief.

The only problem I have had is that on my last two orders they have delivered to my billing address and not shipping address. It's an annoyance because there is rarely anyone at my billing address so I have the go collect the order or hope the neighbour next door can take it in. I even double checked my shipping address to be sure it went where I wanted.

It's a small enough thing but surely they could get something as simple as that right.

Other than that I haven't had any problems.

I opened a dispute via paypal on Monday. Zero response from myprotein.

Think I'll escalate to a claim now. Only my second order with them but I can safely say I will never use them again.

there are so many threads about myproteins sh1t service on boards I dunno why people insist on going back to them. Especially when there are so many online protein companies now.

Myprotein dispatched the goods the day after they were ordered though, it looks like the courier is at fault. Not that this is the OPs fault/problem - myprotein are the company he is paying and they should be looking after him.

As someone who is new to strength training and the world of supplements I really didn't know where to look online for protein. Lots of people recommened myprotein so I went with them. Should have done more research.

My first order with them was fine. Three days delivery via DPD.

For this order they used MHI couriers.

After checking online it appears they have a long history of problems with this courier. There are threads from last year about myprotein and MHI. It appears any problems were rectified when they went back to using DPD.

However, it looks like myprotein are now using MHI and DPD couriers.

And once more, there are problems with MHI.

Unfortunately it looks like myprotein are all too happy to pass the problem on to their customers.

My guess is long term customers are delivered via DPD and newer by MHI.

Based off the fact anyone I know in the gym buying off my protein tend to be ok if they're long term customers, whereas newer ones get screwed.

    Myprotein are a joke.

Discount Supplements are my choice every time.

No, my very first order was sent via DPD. This is my second order and it is with MHI.

If you google myprotein mhi you will see loads of problems both here and in the UK. They are getting a terrible reputation.

I think the biggest problem isn't the delivery or lack there of, it's more a case of if you have a problem and try talk to them, they don't give a sh!t. Once the order leaves them it's not their problem.

My first order was made last Friday and Delivered on Tuesday nay hassle. Was with DPD alright.

Found their service swift and as said above they're great when all goes well but if you have a problem they are a bunch of jokers.

Waiting on a refund since July. I've been ever so polite in all my correspondence on their message centre. I gave DPD references, dates and any info I could.

They've promised me the refund would be done and I check again today and they closed off my query.

I can't reopen it so I have to start again

    Did you pay by paypal?

    My AIB credit card

Not sure what the procedure is for escalation. I'll look that up today and make some calls on Monday

Package arrived this morning. It was in the country since September 2nd. Must have sent it on the back of a three legged donkey. Never again.

Arah yeah but MP service on first delivery is 100% the same :P Come back after 5 - 10 deliveries and let us know how they are getting on.

Finally got my refund from myprotein.

I like their website, their products, their prices and their swift delivery

Customer service was downright awful though. So I won't be back

Will try protein works next time or will try an Irish seller if they are competitive

Been using myprotein last 3 months but proteinworks looks as good and interests me due to the fact it's run by former mp guys, how do ppl find the effectiveness of their products?
