I wouldn't usually get involved in too many bumpers with prices if 4/5 but Eton dorney should win this bumper in Southwell easy enough if there are no above average horses in the race. His form line with clondaw draft is extremely strong and I'm willing but a few PTs he'll win to close to double my stake.

Hodgson is another I fancy in the 4.10 at 3-1. Didn't run a great race last time but the favourite was out last week over 3m so I'd be happy enough to take him on.

Ste, It was actually Clondaw Hero who beat Eton Dorney and he went on to be beaten easily in another bumper. He actually runs in a maiden hurdle today at 4.10. Eton Dorney did look the best horse in the race that day though and travelled very sweetly.

Thanks Johner that was a typo in name terms. The horse that beat Eton easily has extremely nice form along with previous horse that beat the same horse. I guess what I'm trying to say is Eton dorney has solid form for a one race bumper runner. Ferguson hasn't been turning horses out in bumpers of late and would be surprised if he was beaten today given the progression we could expect in the second race. Others in race would have to run at a high bumper rating to beat him and at this time of year I wouldn't be too worried about it

That was unreal by Radiator. Where was James Doyle?

Radiator in the 3.20 at Lingfield looks mightily impressive, super pedigree too so could well go onto better things. Brilliant performance won by a street!

Edit: Big boost to Amazing Maria's form too

Took some 4/1 on Clondaw Hero, thought it would be shorter than that.

Having a lazy day and just a little double for me.

7.30 Kempton Araqella 4/1 is a full sister to the yards Group 1 winning Aqlaam and half sister to yards progressive Nine Realms who is rated 97. She won a mickey mouse 3 runner contest on debut but showed a nice attitude and should have learnt a lot for the experience. Makes handicap debut here off 69 and given that she is bred to be much better than this, didn't do a lot wrong on debut and has the assistance of Ryan Moore for an in form Willie Haggas I can't leave her unbacked despite stall 9 not being ideal.

9.00 Kempton Alpine Mysteries 5/1 ran out a very ready scorer by 6L over this C+D by tonight's jockey Thomas Brown off a 4lb lower mark in an apprentice handicap back in June (crap race; 3rd has won since off 4lb higher) and he was narrowly beaten by a short head at Bath 6 days later when unpenalised. Disappointed at Beverley LTO but has been dropped 2lb and given that he is only 4lb above his rout I think he's worth a dabble on his return to the AW for Harry Dunlop who has already had 2 winners and a 2nd today.

7.30 a farcical contest. Turned into a 2f sprint. Araqella was close enough to the speed to win but definitely lacked a gear. Stayed on in the end to go 2nd but definitely not as good as her sister!
