Bit of an odd request, I have done googling galore and can't find anything...I have a bungalow which has a perfectly good wall face outside, however the family are looking to reface it with the stone from an old cottage for sentimental and aesthetic reasons. we have the stone which is still part of the old cottage and its not far from the new building we are looking to be refaced...

does anybody know if 1. this is possible? 2. any company builders that specialise in this type of job? preferably in the south west of the country.

thanks for any info anyone may have, I can't find a thing.

Any handy stonemason should be able to do this. if there is any recently built walls, houses etc in the area that were built by a stonemason you could simply ask the owner for a phone number. That's where I'd start anyway.

Thanks very much, I wasn't sure if it was something a stonemason would undertake.

If by any chance a stonemason who has done such a job in the Kerry, Dingle region is reading feel free to PM me for a discussion.

    Thanks again...
