Awaiting Assessment - How long does it take??

    Application is awaiting assessment since the 15.09.13, so they now have all the details they require for over two and a half weeks, does anybody know how long this part of the process actually takes?

    WOW, at least yours is being updated. I got my documents list in the post last week and sent mine yesterday and my account is still on the first stage!

    Going by SUSI they say 4 weeks for each stage, but having read the boards I see people from May/June are still waiting whilst others in July got 'provisionally awarded' by August so nobody really knows!

    I'd say you should hear in the next 2weeks but you can print off that page and bring to college as proof so you mightn't have to pay on registration.

    I just want mine to change from initial assessment so I can print something worthwhile!!

    SUSI cannot say how long each process takes as each person is an individual case

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?     It will be about 4 weeks that's how long it took from awaiting assessment to pro. approval.

    Awaiting assessment. Print out the e-mail and give it to your college. That should be ok until you get your approval.

    Status - Application awaiting assessment - Since 15.08.13 - that a whopping 6 weeks tomorrow!!

    My god how long does this process take???

    I'm waiting since August 30 but judging from the posts here, I'll be waiting another while.

    I sent them a pm on Facebook. Will report back if I get any joy.

    Im awaiting since August 21st. I sent them an inquiring message on facebook but the reply was just a standard copy and paste job.

    Can anyone whose awaiting before that date post here when they get some sort of decision made so i can get an idea of where in the queue i am.

    My application was 'Awaiting Assessment' since the 17th of July. I was 'Provisionally Awarded' on the 29th of August. And received my letter of acceptance this week Tuesday 24th of September. (This was my 1st application, NOT a renewal, and I only applied for the fees part of the grant) Hope this helps. :)
