Shaving in Italy

Heading off to Florence in a few days. Is there anything of real interest in Italy from a shaving point of view? Some legendary soap or brush or aftershave that you cant get anywhere else?

There was a thread about a Spanish soap a year or two ago that people seemed well impressed by. Just wondering if Italy has anything similar.

I could be convinced to bring back a few things for the fine people on here.

I'll need to know before Thursday though! :D

I managed to pick up some of the Prep range last time I was in Milan.

Similar to Proraso or 3P, very cheap over there and worth picking up.
(Think it was in a small Carrefour supermarket branch).

The pharmacies should stock Proraso, may also stock Omega brushes.
Keep an eye out for the Valobra range of soaps.

You'll be unlikely to find anything that you cant find here but what you will find is it's a lot cheaper!

    There are small Carrefour's?
The only ones I've seen were in Spain and the size of an industrial complex. From fresh whole rabbits to Nintendo DS Lites.

Nothing like the Spanish Carrefour (which are great for a good range of shaving gear!). I spotted a few around Milan that were the size of a Tesco Express/Centra/Spar.

Forget to add, as it's Florence you could visit http://www.smnovella.it/catalogo.html?path=CTG-CTM001,CTG-CTM001-7,OBJ-PRD01045,OBJ-VAR7030915

Keep an eye out for Floid aftershave as well in perfume shops.
