Saw this on their Facebook page.

Free Delivery on everything on their website to anywhere in Ireland.

    http://michaelguineys.ie/

Is quite convenient for me as I was thinking of buying some new sheets and was wondering where to buy them!

    Thanks OP,

I had my eye on one of their juicers recently but can't find it on their site.

I'll give them a call at lunch to see if the have.

Thanks! I couldn't find it for some reason.

Put my order through - hope its good quality. I see it on Amazon for £59.99, at least I think it's the same.

    Thanks again OP

Got my order yesterday. The duvet cover I ordered is a slightly different shade than expected (http://michaelguineys.ie/bed-bath/pax-blue-duvet-cover-set.html) but still can't complain for 7.99 with no shipping!
100% cotton sheets are good quality

I received my juicer today. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but will hopefully at the weekend.

    Anyway, delivery was fairly quick

I bought a juicer thinking wow this gonna be great just chuck the oranges in like the one I saw in Spain in the bar and hey presto but no, no no, yak ! On peeling the next set though very very nice.

PS - of you wanna try it out with oranges, Supervalu have 3 x 4 pack of oranges for €2.00 at the moment.

Would appear to me that the juicer in Guineys is an older 850w model, latest motors are 990 and 1035w, more expensive too, saying that ive an Andrew James halogen oven and find the quality excellent

This juicer is £59.99 in the UK, £64.99 when I clicked on the Amazon linky so Guineys price is good if there are any in stock, PCWORLD advertise juicers but ive rarely seen them in their Mahon store, Argos have little or nothing in stock at the moment

Voted by Great British Food Magazine as one of their Top Five Juicers on the market (May Edition)

Picked up the Philips HR1861/00 in Argos when it was on offer for just under 60 euro, fine bit of kit

Have to say the Andrew James juicer works great, though tbh I've no real basis for comparison.

I noticed Guineys are selling an ice cream maker by the same brand, am tempted to buy it also before the free delivery offer is up.

Has anyone used this ice cream maker before, or any ice cream maker for that matter?

I have a lidl brand icecream maker, it doesn't get as much use as I thought it would as you have to freeze the base for 12 hours and it's still soft serve after churning but a nice novelty occasionally.

We recently got a great blender and we make a sorbet type icecream in that using frozen berries or fruit and ice(it helps that we have an ice dispenser in our american style fridge freezer) add egg whites and sweetener and cream in you like and bobs your uncle

Thanks OP, ordered some towels and sheets, pretty good value and arrived very promptly too. Wouldn't have thought of Guineys if you hadn't posted this.

Seems to be finished now. Only seems to be free delivery over €50.

I was buying bed clothes recently and came across a few websites that might interest people:

http://www.shoplinens.ie/ (Anthony Ryans in Galway - free Delivery over €50)

http://www.justlinen.co.uk/dorma.asp (UK based, deliver to Ireland for £10)

    Cheers, i'll check out shoplinens.ie.

However, I noticed on their facebook page that Guineys have extended the free Delivery offer to the 17th September. I should amend my original post or possibly thread title if possible.

Remember that you should boil all imported frozen fruit as there is a risk of catching hepatitis A from it.
