Just got my renewal on Friday from Aviva and nearly sure it says on it that there's a 20% loading to pay by direct debit. Was it always that high? I seem to remember Quinn or axa charging 6-7%.

a 6-8% finance charge over 9 months is in the region of 15-20% APR
