Back pain

I was squatting away in the gym this morning and at the bottom of my 7th rep felt a horrible sharp pain in my back. Ignored this and soldiered on through the next two sets as well as the rest of my workout.

Reading online it appears it could be a pinched nerve. Any advice on a diagnosis, treatment or advice for working out with the back pain?

We cant give medical advice here. Go see a doctor.

No medical advice can be given here. But why the hell would you "soldier on"! Go to the physio or gp and this sorted.

    PB or A&E.

Oh no! Just no! On the pitch in a game, yes. In a competition, yes. But just another day in the gym when you feel pain. Just stop!

Sometimes people aren't being 100% serious. Just so you know. But you're welcome to apply my previous bit of advice, free of charge. Don't thank me...just enjoy the results ;-)

    MTFU? Man The **** UP?

I walked off pitch, drove to hospital and walked into a and e with a fractured fibula.

I tore a ligament straight off the bone and kept riding for 2 years before getting it taken out surgically. (I used to ride race horses)

I have arthritis in my left shoulder from smashing a prop in AIL first division rugby. (Im only 28)

And Im a woman. Man the **** up - take a break then try again!
