I've been trying to call them all morning and they're not answering their phones! I'm on Job Seekers Allowance and I've just been accepted for a Springboard course and I need to let them know. Is their office closed or something? What should I do?thanks

    Call into the office

It's quite common for social welfare offices to not answer phones

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Best to attend in person. If you are on JB or JA you will need to fill application form for the Part Time Education Option. Downloadable copy of the necessary form contained in this link http://www.springboardcourses.ie/Help_FAQ.aspx

They've always been great for answering calls. I've rang nearly everyday for a week because i couldn't call in.
I'm starting to think they've moved?
Where they there when you popped in?

Hi Orls, you have to go talk to them in person. The office is open from 9.30-4.

Good thing I was texting her at the time seen this. I just asked a friend who works in the DSP what you should do and she said provided you have your PPS number and can give your address DOB etc you can call any other local office and they should be able to note this on the system :)
