changing name after wedding abroad

Hi girls.
just back from my wedding in Rome.
Do I have to go in and change my name by deed poll or do I just ring up who I need to inform. Bank,tax office etc and supply my marriage cert?

Also, I have a British passport but have been in Irish since a baby. Can I now get an Irish passport that my husband is Irish.

you dont have to change it but can if you want.

There's no necessity for deed poll changes in the Republic of Ireland. You just start using whatever name you want. Names are based on common usage in the Republic, deed poll changes are for those who want it but are not legally required.
