Wales Family Holiday

I have a little time in between jobs over the next 2 weeks and we were thinking of taking the ferry over to Wales for 5 or 6 days. We have a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 month old baby so we are reluctant to flying, we thought that taking the ferry over to Wales might be a less stressful option.

Can anyone recommend any nice areas to visit or stay which are suitable for young families? We are based in West Cork, so we are equidistance from Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare, so as of yet we are unsure whether we will enter Wales via Fishguard or Holyhead.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Can't really advise regarding places to stay with smallies. But regarding the ferry, if the fast ferry from Dun Laoighre is still running when you are travelling go for that one. It is quicker and is in my opinion much easier to deal with little people on it. ( big picture windows to look out and lots of tables to draw at. They have a little play area as well.) North Wales is lovely as well and I am sure lots for families there. Enjoy the trip, fingers crossed you get good weather.
