Some great deals on at B&Q at the min (Swords Branch anyway).
6x4 Cottage fencing €20, was €40.. Haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else
Sheds from €70, saw 2 6x8 sheds for €70 each, there was others there too.. all sold as seen.
Decking, €5 for an 8ft x roughly 10" plank. Not sure if they've anymore left as I bought a load of them today. These where down from €20. I saved €470 at the till just with the decking n fencing deals...

They've other bits on sale also, only looked at the ones above..

Last week in Naas got a 2000w oil filled radiator for €40, reduced from €86, a bathroom mirror cabinet for €30, reduced from €66. Everything presented in bargain bin style so worth a browse. Not sure what would be left. There was paint, plumbing, lighting, gardening, tiles and flooring g from what I can remember

The sheds are flimsey at best.....had a look at them today.

The base and roof are not pressure treated and will rot away in no time at all.

    Doors are rather flimsey too.

You get what you pay for.

For €70 it's still a bargain.. Some had plastic/galvanized roofs which wont rot. A shed lasts as long as u look after it.. Heck you could cut it down and make a kids playhouse or two out of it!

Well best of luck with it anyway.:)

Picked up some packets of bulbs (plant type) and also 3 builders buckets for 1 euro 20 cents each yesterday.

They were also selling off lots of electrical sockets, light fittings and switch plates for fcuk all money.

A good few sparks and builders in there buying them up.:)

Do B&Q still insist on NOT having an Irish website?

Last year we had a meeting with a very senior person who looks after B&Qs Irish Operation.

One of things we brought to his attention was the lack of a dedicated Irish webiste......like Woodies DIYs website.

He said that the companies restructuring and marketing plans were important and that an Irish website for the Irish market would be one of the things he would bring to the UK HQs attention.

Its the UK and Kingfisher who pull the strings and say what and how B&Q Ireland is run and operated.

Anyway,a B&Q Irish website is supposedly planned for the future.

Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.:)

Spot on. Neighbour bought one a few years ago and the roof didn't last a year

Very poor quality. I wouldn't buy it for a tenner :D
