Advice on selling golf clubs

Hi, I have recently come into possession of a set of clubs that I would like to sell but I don't know anything about golf clubs so was looking for a bit of advice on what to do. I just had a couple of questions if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Should I sell them as a set, or individually?

What kind of info do prospective buyers look for?

Finally, how do I know how much to charge for them? I know the make is a fairly good one (Taylormade), would my local golf club be of any assistance in pricing them?

    Thanks in advance!

The make, model is important, But also the shaft, and the grip.
Must be a complete set, good photos will tell all. Back, bottom, face of the most worn club, shaft markings, grips. thats 5!
Most golfers will recognise whats what from the photos.
just google then, to get an idea of price.

Handiest place to sell will be on Adverts.ie - take a look and you'll see what typical sets sell for.

Is it a set of irons or does it includes "woods"?

    What is the model?

It's better to see a set of irons as a complete set and the woods as a set - sometimes you'll get somebody who wants both but it may be easier to sell the woods and the irons.

Prices are very low because people are always chasing the new fangled shinny sets.

A beginner or somebody wanting to upgrade will buy them.

Hi they are Taylormade tour burners - a set of irons, 4 drivers with covers, a bag and a ball retriever.

Prices seem to vary wildly online.

Go to ebay.co.uk and search for the same clubs as yours.
Then tick the "Completed Listings" box and you should see some completed auctions for these clubs.
That will give you a good idea of what the clubs are worth.

If they are originals and not copies then they shouldn't be too hard to get rid of. Be prepared to tell any buyers where they were bought (a receipt would be useful).

    Great will do that

Chances of finding a receipt are slim - I am helping a recently bereaved family friend clear her partner's house and she doesn't know when he got them. We also found a bag of old Wilson's in the garage today, but those she is giving away.
