Sound system for movies and music

Hi all,

It is difficult to find a thread here relating to good surround speakers. I am looking to spend ~500 on good surround speakers (2 front and 2 rear L&R, center speaker and sub woofer). I used to have Bose speakers, loved them, they were clear on lower sounds and higher sounds. Old now though. Can anyone tell me a good set of speakers that I should look for?

Slightly under your budget but I have the Boston Soundware XS 5.1 package (purchased from a different supplier) which RS are offering for GBP 250....
