Where can I get piston rings for a 2006 Chevrolet

    Anyone know where is best to go for a set of piston rings for a 1.6 Chevrolet Tacuma?
    or anyone know where I can get a good engine to fit?

    They use a 'family 1' engine, very common in GM cars, any decent motor factors would be able to source them for you with the reg/chassis number.

    Ok, anything I can do to prolong what's left of the engine for a couple of months till tax etc runs out ? By the time all is done would cost too much and car isn't worth it,only for the fact it's taxed and tested I prob wouldn't bother much.
