Restoring Computer to factory settings

    If I click on this option (see attached picture) will it completely make the computer into a paper weight, necessitating acquiring a new copy of the windows 7 disc, or will it restore it to the way it was when I got it in to shop. Please and thank you :)

    Yes to shop as it was when you first turned d it on with windows and all programs that were on it originally

    and all of your data will be wiped i.e. it will be exactly as it was the first time you switched it on, no more and no less.

    It's the nuclear option if your hard drive is irretrievably corrupted by a virus or plain bad luck (bugs).
