New target member slimming world any tips?

    Just got to target and got my book kinda understand keeping the 3lbs above/below target weight and I think you allowed extra Hex a/b. I dont want to use extra though as I am scared I will put on extra weight. Anyone a target member can they give me some tips or advice. Also I know you dont need to go to class as much but do you still weigh in every week and stay for class and are the holiday allowances the same? Thanks

    Hi miss choc...it can take a while to gain the confidence to trust the new plan. The idea is that if you keep following the rules you're going to keep losing weight. So you up your healthy extras to stabilise it, rather than upping syns.

    I go once a month. I still weigh myself once a week though to keep an eye on it. I know people that still go every week but that just heightens the chances of falling out of target...for me anyhow. I also don't find group very helpful for trying to maintain. Everyone's boasting about their losses and you're sitting there kind of out of the loop a bit. But maybe that's just our group.

    Yeah I think will gradually bring them in I go up and down lbs now end the slightest thing :rolleyes: I really like my group but think I might just go and stay for class once a month so you dont have to weigh in every week? I thought you did, totally new to this. I love cheese and breads so dont want to go mad on my extra Hex's and start gaining again. Are the holidays the same as a non target member. Yeah no point staying for class every week now that I am target

    I don't know about the holidays. ..im sure it is the same...but you could either go to group before you go and then youre done for a month...or check next time you're there.

    I know...I was afraid to eat anything and lost 3lbs me first week on target lol...so I started upping the healthey extras and was back up to target weight by the time I went back.. Now the syns are creeping back in so I'll just have to get my head around that and nip it in the bud.
