If you could choose any era in any place to live through instead of this current one, what would it be and why?

Personally I would choose 1990s. I was born in the 90s but would have like to been in my 20s in the 90s living here.

My second choice would be 1970s America because of the trends back then. Particularly the late 70s because with the music and introduction to video games.

The 1970's. I was born in november 1969 so grew up in the70's and have wonderful childhood memories but I would loved to have been in my late teens or early twenties back then.

I used to always say that Id like to have been in my 20's during the 60's because of music and movies but I don't think Id like all that war and racism so I'll go for the 90's instead...probably still for music and film but with the added bonus of a good Irish soccer team.

I would go for the 1980s (born in 1970), since the birth of the Peace Movement in Germany was very important for me :)

...and the music was second to none as well ;)

I'd take ~4 years younger. I hit the tail end and death spiral of the music I'm in to rather than its peak years. Also would have been able to go out and get locked on the Millennium :pac:

I would love to go back to the 70s. Great time growing up then. :)

having just seen the movie Rush..it would have to be the 70s but not in boring catholic ireland...the 70s in the UK or USA > cool music, cool movies, disco, wife swapping parties, smoking in bars, old spice after shave, being sexist to women without been frowned upon, recreational drugs, ya baby
