Two wise words of wisdom I will impart to you. Listen very carefully, I will say this only once.

    Fcuk them.

    You're banging their daughter.

Judging by their apparent snobbery, you're having the last laugh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,295 ✭✭✭✭Duggy747

They're not your parents so tell them to fùck off and mind their business.

You said on another thread you deliberately stayed unemployed to qualify for BTEA.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 954 ✭✭✭lahalane

Just let on to them that you don't intend getting a job. Say that the dole suits you. Piss them off further. Snobby ****s.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,255 ✭✭✭✭Esoteric_

Are you going to be studying English?

Edit: How can you say you're writing cover letters every day, if you said in the BTEA thread that you 'had to' stay unemployed?

Couldn't you just do what I did - get a job and go to college part time?

You came to AH looking for understanding about being unemployed:eek:

I suggest you take an English Language degree

    Suggestion.
Type just the one cover letter and just change the addressee on it for each job application.
It will save you hours of writing and more time for sexy time.
With all that sexy time a baby may come along with all the freebies so everyones a winner.
Education is a great excuse to get away from the kid when its having a fizzy fit.

Nah i ust to do that with the cover letter but its lazy and employers can spot it so i have to tailer each one to the exact company

But you are still unemployed.....so perhaps that approach isn't as good as you think. :P

Next time they ask simply reply "two words - Fuck off"

No, but seriously...tell them to fuck off!

Does your girlfriend know that her parents' questions annoy you? Why doesn't she tell them to fúck off? If I noticed my parents were making my boyfriend uncomfortable with certain questions or comments I'd be quick to tell them to keep quiet.

Bang her ma, that'll teach em.

Well I wouldn't go as far as to tell them to fcuk off, as they are your gfs parents, just grit your teeth and bare it, you're looking for work and will be going to college. be satisfied in knowing that.

I for one would set up my own manufacturing industry if found in this conundrum.
Or at least some kind of natural resources well - natural resources present or not young man ... thats the wrong attitude.

Tell them that you wish you did have a job, that way you might be able to afford some f*cks to give.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,705 ✭✭✭✭Tigger

    I think you'll find that his punctuation / typing skills have let him down;
The title I'd this thread was girlfriends parents don't like me
The start of the post was; being jobless I just need to get this off my chest...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,959 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

Every time her parents start moaning about you being on the scratcher just start saying you're thinking of starting a career in porn movies as your cock is so huge and your great in the sack.

I guarantee you that if you retaliate with this response EVERY time they'll soon stop ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,320 ✭✭✭roast

Lob it into her in front of them. That'll learn 'em.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,295 ✭✭✭Joe10000

They want the best for her that's all.

Put up one of your cover letters and lets see if we can help.

Well OP, THERE's your problem of why your CVs never work - judging by that block of text with no punctuations, etc., and what have you.

    :pac:

Not being smart but your grammar and spelling are not good.

If your cover letters are anything like that, you would be lucky to get to interview stage with any company. Maybe have a mate review any letters / CVs before you send them out

    Tell them you ARE working...

    on their daughter.

My gf's parents were unhappy with me not having a job because we were moving in together. I had one a week later. Coincidentally, I will be losing that job in a month (nearly three years later) due to redundancy.

This is an added bonus of having a Polish girlfriend. Her parents are a thousand miles away and dont speak english.

    *ahem*
Not everybody is as perfect as you are. Some people have learning difficulties. Some people are dyslexic. Some people are stupid and finally some people just don't care about their spelling and grammar. It's not your job to police them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,839 ✭✭✭✭padd b1975

Just tell them there is no longer a stigma attached to being a 'kept man'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,900 ✭✭✭General General

Tell them you're keen to make some money doing a porno with their daughter called: Up the sh!tter, I'm no quitter!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,443 ✭✭✭MonstaMash

    Message to GF's parents...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,068 ✭✭✭LoonyLovegood

OP, I'm the opposite. My parents - really my dad - has a problem with my boyfriend being unemployed. Mention it to your gf, ask her can she talk to them. It worked for us!

Question for you, OP. Is your girlfriend currently working? Does she loan you money, help you out, treat you or contribute any financial support? If she does any of those things this could be the reason her parents have a problem with you not working. They might see you as a sponge on their daughter's hard earned cash.

If that is not the case then you have every right to tell them to politely mind their own business.

Either way, you should probably tell your girlfriend that this is bothering you. She should have a word with them and stick up for you.

Tell them the only job you need is the one their daughter performs daily on your throbbing uncircumcised member.

In fairness, that's not for everyone. I am in full time employment and have been doing a degree with OU. At one stage I was stressed from work coming home to be stressed from coursework. Luckily the ou means I can take a break and finish off my modules when I choose within reason.

Just tell them that at dinner that you got a job this morning.

    A blow job.

Just savour the silence that follows. Let it sink in.
