Having a couple of issues with the roof in my hoise ive recently bought.

First is that starlings have managed to get in 3 times to the attic. After the second I stuffed any places I could see with light coming through with insulation. Bird got in again and insulation untouched. Any ideas how to go about solving the issue. Ive only scanned from the inside.

Other issue is the velux windows seem to be poorly installed with the felt being cut out rather than folded back, see attached pics. Any way to repair that?

    Hey ush
The starlings, busy birds, grab a coffee, sit outside for awhile and watch their entry point to the house, and fix/block as needed.

The velux. If its a concrete tiled roof it would be about an hours work to dismantle and take out the window, repair felt and replace window.
If its a slate roof it would take about half a day to do the same repair.

Thanks for that. The birds haven't been in for a while, think it was because it was nesting season but I'll check around for any possible entry points.

It's a tiled roof yeah, well that's not too bad if it would be roughly an hours work. There is a couple of patches actually where the felt is damaged so I might get a quote for the whole lot.
