Ok so how about i get a red paper clip. I then offer to swap it with someone online for something else. with this i swap it for something else and eventually values will go up if i'm careful in swapping and could eventually end up swapping something for a house or something worth more

1. You're somewhere and need directions, so you text your location to someone who's sitting in front of their pc and can text you back directions in a format that is compatible with the nav on your device.

2. You need a cab so you send your location to the company and they come to you - this may already be incorporated in Hailo or similar.

3. A child can text/send their location to parents etc.

4. Other uses I can't think of at the minute.

If there's already something like this - let me know, it'd be very handy.
If there's nothing like this, and someone creates it and makes a million, I will accept equity in lieu of money.

There's a farmer in Tipperary who made a farm-bot to round up his sheep and cut the grass. I think it also brings you a flask of milky tae down the bog. It's remote controlled, but I'm sure he could rig up GPS too. Good man Niall!

If you are using a smartphone, most will have some mapping software and most of it is cross app compatable.

For example i can send my location from google maps to a mate using whatsapp and they can open the co-ordinates on their device.

in order to get it to auto ping you location or just have it as a button/widget Tasker i believe can do this for you. Its a command based app that allows you to build little tasks.

You can set it to send current GPS co-ords to X person via Y app when Z button is pressed.

I had it set to turn off sounds, open music app selection and send a text message when it picked up my work wifi in the morning
