    Hi,

I am trying to get my returns in early this year and have been using the landlord calculator

    http://www.irishlandlord.com/index.aspx?page=calculators_taxestimation

But just have a query regarding how accurate it is, plus how to calculate Losses carried forward from previous year.

    Is it
    a. rental income minus total mortgage payments plus allowable expenses or
    b. rental minus 75% interest plus allowable expenses

    Made a huge loss in 2012 so I'm praying it's point a.

    Thanks

It's b. 75% of the interest if you are registered with PTRB.
