    Hey all!

I'd love to hear any experiences with the forestry course in WIT. How did it set you up for a career and am I looking at going abroad for a while till the economy gets better?
I'd really appreciate any info people could give me! :)

Great suggestion! Leave the state, and go to the cutting edge of forestry which is not here. You'll really have your eyes and mind opened.
Good luck in what is a most satisfying profession!

Finished the course a few years back and have been disappointed with employment options since. I really never found the courses that engaging either, it included a lot of pointless modules.

Also some of the guys I did the course with thought they needed it to become contractors, but they didn't.
Just get training from Teagasc to become a contractor
and maybe doing short business course.
