    Hi guys & girls,
Looking to get back into the car scene and I'm wondering what events are coming up in the next while?

Looking at stuff like japfest preferably in Munster but willing to travel.

    Thanks in advance

Excellent idea. Even if we posted all events on this forum someone could consolidate them to a shared google calendar

Hi i am not sure if this is the correct place to ask about this, but a mate asked me to do it for him. Basically he is staging a charity event for classic Audi's in Donegal soon, but i don't know if i am allowed link to it on boards.

If its ok with mods could i link to it here?

As i said, i am just posting this for a mate who is not on boards who is just trying to get word out for his run.

    Cheers

Yeah i was gonna do that, i just posted in here as i seen it was called upcoming car events.

Basically, this is his second year organizing a classic Audi (pre A series) run in aid of charity. Last year they did all around south Donegal and this year its up north, towards the Inishowen peninsula. They had a great turnout last year and are looking to beat it this year.

Only posted in here as im not 100% sure on advertising stuff like this on boards.

Its the North West Classic Audi. There is a Facebook page for it and as far as i know there is some chat about it over on the classic Audi forums.

OP. there is a 2-day Autotest in Cork on 7/8 sep. Both events are free to attend and are on in Vernon Mount (south ring road).
Good fun to watch and most of the guys are quite happy to have a quick chat about their cars, and the sport, between tests.
If you see a blue Seicento there (revving the nuts off it's 16v engine) then you'll know we made it to the event.
Come over and we will gladly tell you how to get involved in motorsport (and complete a season with a few class wins) for well under a grand.

Probably a scarcity of Jap stuff, but should be some great displays of car control.
