I have a large Barna style shed that was originally roofed with felt. The felt has gradually deteriorated and sections of it have blown away leaving the shed pretty much without rain cover.

As winter is approaching i'm thinking about getting it recovered but tbh the felt seems messy and time consuming,a coleague in work suggested corrugated bitumen roofing instead....is this expensive or complacted and could i be able to do it myself?

It might be easier and cheaper to buy some plywood and a roll of felt. You should get at least 10 years out of it. By then the shed may need to be replaced. Have a search in this forum - I think this type of question may have been answered before.
