    Just wondering where would I get a decent laptop at a good price around the Limerick area,my oldest is heading to college in a few weeks and needs one,thanks in advance.

    Saw a few cheap ones in my local Tesco of all places. Were around €250 ish.

    Can't remember specs but maybe someone else saw them and can give more info

    Its a dual core AMD, 2Gb RAM, 320Gb Hard-drive jobbie
    Make- Toshiba

    Personally- if you have the money- I'd go for something a bit higher spec'ed- aka an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor- 4Gb RAM, 500Gb or 1000Gb hard-drive, and while you're not likely to get it- discrete graphics.

    The Toshiba ones in Tesco- don't have the best of reputations (there are a few comments about them in the main bargain alerts thread).
