    Hi guys,

Just wondering what my options are on this.. The car is sounding like a boy racer and I'm not a boy racer :(

Do I have to buy a whole exhaust or can I get somebody to weld it back together.. ?

It seems that both parts of the exhaust hang loose more or less in an aligned position. Could I use a rubber hose clamp to keep it roughly in position for the moment.. ?

    Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Just get a new back box. They aren't expensive.

Would you recommend a genuine VW back box or a spurious part?

I got a new back box fitted recently, spurious from a fast fit company, and find it louder than the original. I am wondering if I should have got the genuine box in the main dealer
