its in a nut i get , nut is expensive, its a dan o connor nut, they mostly do dairy feeds but its finishing beef nut i get. cattle do very well on it.

i think it would be too much hassle dosing it into home mixed rations etc unless on a large scale

I use it at 15kg per tonne,I think from mid april to late june to counteract low fats from real lush grass.Works very well. Not sure about it in a winter diet though. It costs me an extra 12 euro a tonne,Well worth it

depends on the construction of the diet and what sort of outputs you are trying to achieve. Lots of the products are aimed at the more affluent dairy boys as the know that 5c per day in a beef diet is 2% extra cost so they have to prove there worth. Tell them to leave a pallet in the yard and you will pay them on results:rolleyes:, We have being including yeast in the diet for years but its the new buz word for every salesman. When you go through the amount of yeast actually in the bag often there may only be a kilo of actual product. Acid buffs again are only need for special diets that over 95% of farms in Ireland dont need, and there are much cheaper ways of getting Buffers without buying fancy bags.

what problems are you having with your diet to make you think you need one of these products or have you had someone in your ear proclaiming an extra ltr a day for using their product.
