Are White Collar / Covert Affairs / Longmire any use?

Looking for a show to watch before the new season return next month and seen that three potentially interesting shows - White Collar, Covert Affairs and Longmire are on Netflix that I've never seen. Each has multiple seasons so I'm wondering if any are worth watching. Not interested in starting a show that has only one good season before descending into mediocrity. Any of these shows worth my time and that maintain a healthy quality?

well white collar is getting a bit old now, they are running out of ideas, but the first 2-3 seasons are fairly good, definitely worth a watch,

covert affairs starts off as a kind of fun show but it has gotten stronger and more serious as the seasons have gone on, currently on season 4 and its looking like it gonna be its best yet,

i never watched longmire so cant say anything about it, but id say covert affairs would be your best bet,

Longmire is decent. Good characters, fairly well written, not terribly unpredictable mind you. Great Wyoming scenery too. Worth a watch.

Yes for White Collar and Longmire, not a fan of Covert Affairs myself

So basically it seems to be: try all of them.
Might give 'Covert Affairs' a look first as I really liked 'Alias' and I know it's described as 'Alias-lite'.

Do these shows have much in the way of arcs? Two of them are USA shows which generally don't. Didn't bother me much for shows like 'Monk' and 'Psych' but maybe something a bit more like 'Burn Notice'?

Longmire has a bit, mainly in the form of character-building stuff, shown through flashbacks and the like - and a couple of stories that progress over a season, mostly as backdrop to the case of the week though. For rural Wyoming a hell of a lot of people do get murdered, not sure why they don't move to Detroit :)

Longmire has good actors ,some likeable characters and good standalone episodes/mysteries but the season long arcs are very disappointing and very slight. I would call it Justified -lite.

Covert affairs is Alias on a budget with uninteresting bad guys and a central romance that adds no spark to the central storyline. I would compare this show unfavorably to Nikita.

Nikita is miles better than Covert Affairs

Covert Affairs is a light enough show, but as I said on the current CA thread, they've kicked it up a gear in season 4. It has been terrific this year, and it's the first thing I watch every Wednesday.

its improved season on season, like i said it started off as kind of a fun series, but the longer annie has been in the field the more the series quality has increased, it is mission of the week kind of stuff at the start but each season has had some kind of storyline running throughout it,

i now prefer it to nikita, nikita loves its generic industrial location far to much wheras covert affairs does a LOT of location shooting, and covert affairs is a more straight up spy show, non of this memory reprogramming and unlimited access to military hardware kind of stuff,

im not bashing nikita before i get attacked i do enjoy the show, not as much as i did and like i said CA has only recently overtaken it due to its increased quality and nikitas obvious decline,

up to yourself ioxy as i said white collar is good but is in decline and covert affairs starts off generic but has improved season on season, and well as i said i havent seen longmre
