UK CAT D , C Etc will they show on Irish Register After VRT and car is registered in Ireland .

Does it really matter if car is Professionally fixed if it has cat D .

I personally don't care but worried about resale values.

It will show up on the report from various motor checks that a potential buyer would get before agreeing to buy if it was recorded on the insurance database. While it could be repaired to the highest professional standard it still would be worth less than a car that has never been involved in an accident.
