Just get it over with and tag anyone and everyone, so we all know what everyone is doing at any given moment. Sure if you have nothing to hide, why would you be worried.

Should all the early release prisoners and other scoundrels who are out on temporary release etc not be tagged, especially the sex offenders and repeat offenders??

They Should be. This is an under utilized resource, I agree with Shatter

The reason sex offenders do not get temporary release is that they get such short sentences in the first place...... Sex offenders should be tagged wether released early or not....

we are constantly hearing of short sentencing and overcrowding, should tag anyone who gets off lightly

Aye, sure just throw a shít-ton of money at yet another private company to tackle another issue that isn't really a problem in the first place.

Nope tagging them all would be far too costly. Also Shatter would just track people who bullied him at school.

    2 or 11?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I don't see the point of tagging sex offenders - this is just a vote ploy by Mr. Shatter (simply mentioning"sex offenders" should be worth a few votes being the strategy, and I#m pretty sure he knows it).

I say this because if someone is likely to offend sexually, they should not be out at all: saying "we're sorry about the rape, but we know where he is - vote Shatter" is not going to be of much comfort to anyone.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

You'd want to have at least that anyway.

It's two, no? And this is a fairly new initiative, they're still trialling the things. give it a few years and electronic tagging will either be a common tool in dealing with certain kinds of criminals or completely unused.
