Considering soundloud had (as of Jan 2012) 10 million registered users then you can see why it might be difficult to find stuff. Soundcloud and Youtube both promote the most accessed material. They give the people what they want to hear. Head on over to the Dance Music Production forum to hear what us small timers are uploading :)

Even if you know exactly what you want, the search function on Soundcloud seems to be completely useless. I had listened to a DJ set ages ago from a link I found. I wanted to hear it again so I searched Soundcloud for what I seemed to remember it being called and a few other variations. Soundcloud search came back with no results. I figured it might have been removed for copyright or something. I later found the original link and clicked through to find that, not only was it still online but also that I had the name of it 100% right for the first search.
