Citroen Berlingo Radio problem

I was looking for a van to use for work and was offered a Citroen Berlingo which is in good condition and looks very clean. The only hitch so far is that there is no sound from the radio, you can turn the radio on and select stations but no sound at all comes from the speakers. Would anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks.

It could be something as simple as the speaker iso plug disconnected from back of the radio.

Had a look already and the two connections are in on the back.

Press the seek up button so that the stations start to scroll away on their own. Check and see if the it stops at a station ..ie 96.8 and will it register the name of that station ... G BAY FM. If it does stop on a station then the output amp is faulty or speakers ( unlikely ) are faulty. I take it that you don't have sound when playing the cd.
