The lads on sky were just taking about the new captain selection process for the European Tour. From now on, 5 people will choose the captain, them being: The 3 previous Captains The COO of the European Tour, and A selected official from the committee (committee picks) A historic event (maybe not :) ) but another big event…

The lads on sky were just taking about the new captain selection process for the European Tour.

From now on, 5 people will choose the captain, them being:
The 3 previous Captains
The COO of the European Tour, and
A selected official from the committee (committee picks)

A historic event (maybe not ) but another big event that Monty can claim credit for
He mightn't be talking about this one at every opportunity he gets though. Delighted they acted on that.

Have things really gone a bit sour between Clarke and McGinley over the last selection process? If so it will no doubt affect Clarkes chances for 2016 which he looked a shoe in for.
