I'm a complete beginner, based in Leixlip and looking to get into the sport. I'd also like to know if there's a club around Leixlip/Celbridge.

There's one in Clane, good crew, well kitted out and the coach all levels. There used to be a crew training in the mill in celbridge but I don't know if its still running or what the club is like.

doesnt Karl Brabazon run a boxing club in Lucan? thats not too far from Celbridge

There is a club in celbridge in the same building as the gym. Not sure the gyms name but the boxing club is on the floor above the gym.

Yes Lucan BC. Esker BC also have a gym in St Annes NS in Lucan. Both are well run, progressive clubs and not far from Celbridge.
