Have you passed all 60 credits from your previous stage? I think I remember seeing that when I failed something.

Yeah I passed them all, when you click on it, a dialog box says:

"Assigning to the next stage is only relevant where you are taking extra credit".

I saw it on mine and I've only this year left so I'd not worry about it. I think mine offered me a choice of no stage or Stage 2. Just click your current stage and that should sort it.
