My uncle is an instructor, Igoe's driving school. Couldn't tell you a thing about his pass rate! He is a nice man though :-)

I would highly recommend Chris O'Dea from Pass Master School of Motoring. He has a 97% pass rate. http://www.passmasterdriving.com/

Completely agree with this. I had 4 lessons with him and passed, despite using a car I was unfamiliar with (his fab Mini Cooper!) and driving around Roscommon, which I also wouldn't be very familiar with. He puts you at ease and is friendly and cheerful, and having done lessons in Athlone and Loughrea previously, he's very good value.
