Need advice fairly quick here. Took the car out to go training earlier, yellow gas exhaust light came on. Not flashing, a solid light. Anyone know is it safe to drive it for more than a day? I'm driving to work in Ballyvourney in the morning (about 32km) and need to know I'm not gonna sh*g the car in the process.
The car seems to be driving fine, although the car has rattled in idle on the one occasion if thats anyway related?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What does it say in the driver's handbook?

Sensor most likely. It happens on them. It won't do any immediate damage but look into getting it replaced when you can.

Right just popped into the mechanic, said it's most likely a coil pack gone but said he wont know till he runs the diagnostic computer on it.
Car seemed to drive fine even though it was shaking while idle on a cold engine.
I'll post back when I hear more sure. Thanks for the replies btw!
