I got five calls over the last 10 days, where lock keys were lost or wrong key for lock, to replace locks. So I was thinking there must be easier way than always changing the lock when keys are not able to found. I came up with a solution. With all the locks I replaced I wrote the key number behind handles on door. I got a call today from a client to say a young lad lost the key of door and it was great to be able to get key No. instead of replacing lock again.
