Had a crash on the bike. Saddle ripped, tape ripped, hoods and brakes bashed. Looking for a recommendation for a good repair shop to get the bike serviced. I know there is Bradys in Ratoath but don't know if [/B][/B]they do or are any good at services. Bike is a Boardman Road Team. Willing to put the bike on the back of the car if necessary/

Is Brady's not just a garage that sells bikes as a side thing?

You might be better off bringing it to Cyclezone in Blanchardstown.

There's also a guy in Ashbourne that repairs bikes. He's in Cherry Lane http://goo.gl/maps/tdGp3

Doesnt seem too badly damaged, why don't you have a go at doing it yourself ?

The Brake lever position is easy to adjust you'll need a long 5mm allen key
The brake pull length adjustment also use's the 5mm allen key to adjust the cable bolt
You will need to put on new bar tape - lots of how to videos on Youtube, not too tricky
If the hoods are torn then you'll need replacements else just clean them up

The one thing that you need to check is if your handle bars have been bent in the accident, if so it may be best to replace them also as a failure or hairline cracks could be disasterous.

If not up to it I would also recommend Stagg Cycles in Lucan or CycleSuperstore in Tallaght.

If you end up trying your hand at repairs, I'm in Ashbourne and can give you a hand if you get stuck.
