Looking for a point in the right direction.

I've been based between Dublin and Glasgow the last few years, now I am going to permanently relocate to Glasgow

My wife is Scottish and we have two kids, and already have a home bought.

My company are based in Dublin and have no presence in the UK (except me, but all my work will be with my usual Irish clients and to all intents and purposes I'll still be in a Dublin office when clients telephone for me).

    Anyway, any ideas?

    - who do I call to advise that I am resident in the UK (for tax purposes)

    - who do I call here to advise I am going to reside in the UK

    - how does my tax (PAYE / PRSI) work, I assume I'll be paid by my Dublin Office and since my employment is continuing with them - they make deductions and pay HMRC? Or do they pay me all my wage and I pay HMRC myself?

    - I'm going to be in situ in a couple of weeks, would I get any tax back from Ireland?

Any info would be much appreciated - I already have been in contact with an Accountant over here, but I'd like to know what else I should or could be doing

    Many thanks!

    James
