Which is worse? Guy not texting girl, or girl not replying?

On a night out, a guy gets a girls number, and perhaps kisses her.

Two scenarios:

1. He never texts her.

2. He texts her, and she doesn't reply.

Which is worse?

Personally I think number 2 is worse. If she never intended to reply, why get the man's hopes up and give him the number in the first place?

Personally, i think they're are equally as bad. An expectation is created by asking for the number that you will try to contact the person. In the same way, an expectation is created by giving the number that you will respond to an attempted contact.

I find the second scenario is less annoying if you just automatically assume that the number someone gives you is fake. If you get a response when you try to contact them, then it's a bonus!!

1 - denied...none for you.
2 - She's ignorant/an idiot, very low probability of getting any, move on.

it is a positive/pleasurable thing right now!

it also has potential downsides (for some) such as stds and unwanted pregnancy and commitment/meaning and general weirdness in some instances right now also

anyway I bet theres not that many girls interested in blowing two guys at the same time now or that many lads would be all that interested in one that was and I'm not sure thats going to change anytime soon...then again I am out of touch

Why would he get her number if he wasn't going to text her though?

They're both pretty ignorant. Maybe that's why Facebook was invented. No escape.
