22-08-2013 2:21pm#1So after using Pro Camera Shop online, saving about €150 compared to stores in Ireland, this arrived 5 mins ago. My first panic was the UPS man dropping the box in front of my eyes but it was well packaged. :bang:
Fired it up and it all seems perfect, quick to focus, nice colours etc. Most obvious thing is the weight - it's without a doubt the heaviest lens I now own and if weight is your thing for determining quality then it feels like a quality lens! It's the first zoom lens to have a constant 1.8 available and seems to do very well in reviews being compared to Canon L glass most of the time.
A very quick unedited picture using it, will try get out later with it...
