    Hello ! :)

So i got 6 distinctions on my fetac levl 5 in social stuides last year, but didnt get into my course in sligo IT in social care practice.

Does anyone know ,, if i can keep my distinctions that i got last year,, and just repeat the subjects i didn't get distinctions in ?

Do you guys think that would be the best option for me ?

Contact the Admissions Office in IT Tallaght and ask them. They are the only ones who can fully advise you.

However if you look at the codes alongside the course listed for FETAC entry on the CAO site http://www2.cao.ie/fetac/fetac_search2.php you will see that they use UPD/MLT/- That was for entry this year and means that you are competing against school leavers as well as FETAC applicants but the best score in any combination of FETAC assessment sessions was used for ranking purposes. Check with them whether this will apply next year.
