Hitting a weight loss wall

Since January 2012 I have lost 7stone, I achieved this by changing my diet and exercising (for the first time in my life!) I now train five days a week, this can vary from an hour cardio, an hour of toning or an hour of trx. My problem is I've hit a wall and cant seem to find the motivation to push forward and reach my final goal. My stomach has quite a lot of loose skin and it's really starting to get me down. Does anyone have any motivational tips or been in a similar situation? Its been a long journey and i just feel like I'm never going to get there! :(

How much more have you left to lose?

I've lost about the same amount as you so I know how hard it can be to keep pushing. I'm at goal, thankfully, so I'm more about maintaining etc...

WOW what an achievement to make a that decision to invest in your health and execute on it.

Could you post up the details of your training and nutrition plan. Then we can check it out and suggest a few changes.

At some stage even post some details on this journey you've been on as I'm sure many here would find it highly motivating.

Wow well done. Can you set some new medium and long term goals for yourself e.g. book a holiday, and aim to look amazing in your bikini/ swim shorts (sorry don't know if you are male or female)

Or promise yourself that once you hit a certain target weight you will treat yourself to a spa weekend/ New car/ fancy clothes/ holiday etc..

Or aim to do a mini marathon/ to hell and back challenge or climb crime Patrick/ compete in a triathalon etc..

Thanks for your replies, I have a stone left to lose. When I started this journey I made a list of the reasons why I wanted to lose weight and I felt it really kept me focused. The thing is I'm moving to London in 4weeks so I'm really not short of goals. My diet is relatively good a lot of protein and small portions of carbs. I love cereal such as bran flakes but have made a conscious effort to cut back as I know they can be high in sugar. Although my diet is good during the week I tend to have couple of drinks at the weekend and binge the following day, this means that all the hard work I do midweek is basically for nothing.

I think what I'm really frustrated with is the lack of consistency, one day I will be extremely motivated and the next I'm saying feck it its only a bar of chocolate. Basically im messing around with it and need to put the head down and really give it my all. Easier said than done!!
