Handbrake on passat won't release an bringing on warning on dash. Tried fuses, all ok. Disconnected battery an left stand for an hour. New button fitted. Still the same. Checked for voltage at motors, not gettin any. Git a loan of computer an showing an showing an "erratic voltage" to both sides. Anybody any ideas in where…

Handbrake on passat won't release an bringing on warning on dash. Tried fuses, all ok. Disconnected battery an left stand for an hour. New button fitted. Still the same. Checked for voltage at motors, not gettin any. Git a loan of computer an showing an showing an "erratic voltage" to both sides. Anybody any ideas in where to go from here??? Went lookin fir the handbrake module but can't find

What were you going to do when you found the parking brake controller, just out of interest?

Going to make sure id continuity between there and the motors, check for power to the module

EPB module is underneath the centre console close to rear ashtray.
